Heres a handy chart. It is normal to have a lower prescription for contact lenses than glasses because the CL. Part of the reason for the differences is that contacts are placed directly on the lens of your eye while glasses sit about 12 millimeters away. Glasses can also have glare get dirty etc whereas the contacts dont have those issues.
